Very cute little local coffee shop. Made a good coffee and served lovely little scones. Very sweet couple who run the place. No English, but there's an English menu and they're very accommodating. Good toilet too. It's a beautiful walk from Ryoan-ji through the narrow little back streets and a lovely way to see traditional houses and gardens.

Charming coffee spot between Ryoan-ji and Ninna-ji temple area. We had salty bites, sweets, coffee, and green tea. Everything tasted delicious, and we even got New Year's treats as a thoughtful gesture. A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere with lovely interior decor and very cute cups and plates. There is English menu.

First off. Vibe immaculate. Nice calming background music, quiet atmosphere. Service great. Seems to be owned by an old man, very polite. Food... Absolutely amazing. The scones were small but sweet. If you're looking for a sweet treat I absolutely recommend this spot. All the food tasted amazing, really really amazing. Everything tasted fresh and home made other than the jam that was packaged but still tasted like it was fresh. The coffee was equally amazing. Not acidic and strong as well as tasteful. Had just an amazing feel in this small coffee shop. 100% recommend this spot as a quick pit stop.
